so here's the story.
i can't find the sausage anywhere
and it works out to be a blessing.
i find a worker walking around and ask him where they are.
he takes me right to them.
they are re-stocking the shelves.
perfect.
he said they ran out yesterday.
perfect.
i say, "well, i bought some coupons and i am not going to have them until next week, is there any chance i can get a rain check?" (with a big smile!)
more smiles.
it really does help.
they can't usually see your nervousness through the smile.
